# Everyday use

Choose the right space, then start with one concrete question. Typed questions, supporting material and voice input belong to the same conversation.

## Make a question useful

Explain what you want to know, the relevant period and how you would like to see the result. If an answer uses a concept differently from your business, point out the difference. Supply or confirm missing information rather than treating a guess as a conclusion.

For data answers, check the source, scope and meaning used. Kernel should not pretend to know data that is unconnected or outside your permissions.

## Voice input

Tap the microphone to record. The recording waveform follows sound levels; a separate animation indicates recognition is in progress.

- Stop: receive a text draft, review or edit it, then send.
- Send during recording: finish recognition and send the result directly, without the preview step.

Failed recognition, cancellation or switching conversations should not send incomplete work. An administrator must configure the speech service correctly. Recording conditions and vocabulary preparation also affect accuracy. Check important names, numbers and amounts.

## Pages and settings

General settings apply across spaces, including interface language. Personal and business settings manage their own members, material and device authorization. Use the return entry after visiting a business page. Click outside a popup to dismiss it.

## Keep actions under control

Distinguish a discussion, a proposal awaiting confirmation and an operation that has actually completed. Review changes that need approval. Mentioning an external system in a conversation does not connect it or authorize automatic actions there.
