KernelUser guide中文

A practical guide to the current development release.

Installation and sign-in

Choose the personal or enterprise edition first, then decide where its host runs. Each domain owns its information, membership and device permissions. Hosting location does not change ownership.

Personal edition

Use a personal domain for my information, experience and work. It has two hosting choices:

Prepare the host and model service, create and sign in to the personal domain, then add one authorized source. Remote devices normally reach a computer host through encrypted relay; official hosting uses a service endpoint. The actual route depends on deployment.

Enterprise edition

An administrator prepares the company domain for shared company knowledge, data and agent capabilities. Its host can be a company-managed computer or server; members do not install a server themselves.

  1. Prepare the host, model access and private configuration.
  2. Create the enterprise domain and administrator account, then verify sign-in.
  3. Add one authorized knowledge or data source and check one real question.
  4. Invite members with administrator or ordinary member roles.
  5. Authorize additional devices individually when needed.

Connection details belong in the deployment guidance: use an available enterprise endpoint directly, with an enterprise gateway or encrypted relay when needed. Platform identity does not grant enterprise-domain access.

Members of an existing domain

Open the administrator-provided web address and sign in with a domain-authorized account. Joining an existing domain requires no redeployment. Passwords and database secrets are configured privately at that deployment, never in the public website form.

Client and host

Kernel is the product and client name. Its backend host stores the domain's information and provides runtime capabilities. Planned installer names are Kernel Backend for Mac, Kernel Backend for Windows and Kernel Backend for Ubuntu. Mac and Ubuntu backend operation is verified; public installers, App Store downloads and complete Windows installation verification remain pending.

Phones and remote devices

Use “Authorize mobile APP login” in the owning domain's settings to issue a one-time invitation. Scan it and wait for confirmation from that domain. Domains authorize separately; routine sign-in needs no repeated scan. Public mobile distribution and complete arbitrary multi-domain flows still await further release qualification; trial devices use the deployment owner's provided version and entry.
